As a follow on to his recent report on the last /8 usage in APNIC, Geoff Huston providers his analysis of the transfer market since the beginning of directed transfers in 2010.
Interesting points in the report:
- Just over 1000 blocks have been transferred under APNIC policies
- Slightly less than a /8 has been transferred
- The average block size transferred in 2015 is a /18
